Meet Dr. Kathleen Tavarez

Dr. Kathleen Tavarez has been specializing in orthodontics since 1992. She began her higher education by studying at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) graduating with a Bachelor in Biology Degree. She continued to the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in addition to a Bachelor in Dental Sciences. At the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan she graduated with a Specialty Degree and Masters in Orthodontics.

Dr. Kathleen Tavarez considers it her personal obligation to provide the highest quality of orthodontic care to her patients through ongoing education pertaining to the cutting edge of clinical orthodontic advances and by embracing advancements in technology.  She is an active member and presenter in several orthodontic as well as multidisciplinary study groups.  She maintains active memberships in  multiple professional organizations.

Dr. Kathleen Tavarez and her husband, Ray, have two children, Kaitlin and RJ. When not in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.
